The Pathana campsite is located 150 meters away from the Karambaketiya campsite and it is the closest view point from the east slope of Knuckles. Even the guests who are staying at Karambaketiya camp prefer the mini hike with the steep ascent of 50 meters to Pathana campsite to witness a full 360° panorama view of the surrounding area. This is an excellent location for sunset and sunrise watchers. A picturesque waterfall can be seen below Mount Knuckles during the rainy season.
