Instead of going along the carpeted road for 1km to reach the Seven Waterfalls, the adventure seekers can choose a trek along the river itself. The trek goes through a tough terrain that highlights the importance of facing challenges as a group to reach the destination. Guests can experience the endemic bird species of Sri Lanka in the Knuckles Conservation Zone along the way. Even though the trekking distance is approximately 1200 meters, the route along the river takes about an hour and a half to reach the Seven Waterfalls. Our tour guides work hard to ensure that these activities are carried out safely and under proper supervision.
